All articles submitted to Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications are sent to two independent Reviewers who are not related to the scientific Institution of the Author and who declare no conflict of interest. Reviewers are eminent professors and researchers from different countries working in different branches of general algebra. All submitted papers are peer-reviewed within approximately five months.
Manuscript decisions are based on editorial discretion and single-blind review process (the author does not know the identity of the reviewers). All data that may reveal the identity of reviewers is removed from the Reports. Reviewers give their decisions and comments using the Referee Form (http://www.discuss.wmie.uz.zgora.pl/al/referee-form.doc).
If the Reviewer’s recommendation stated that the article should be corrected and reviewed again, the Editor sends the manuscript, after the Author has applied all the necessary corrections, to the same Reviewer. After the reviewing process, the Editorial board decides upon accepting the manuscript for print or rejecting it, taking into consideration the final recommendations from the Reviewers.
